| Project overview | In collaboration with JICA, SAA conducted capacity-building training on the SHEP approach for staff and extension officers of the Regional Directorates of Agriculture, as well as for personnel from the Agricultural Learning Centers (CAA: Centre d'Apprentissage Agricole). In addition, SHEP training was provided to farmers in five regions to promote market-oriented agriculture to increase farmers' incomes. SAA also supported the revision of the Training Curriculum for Agricultural Extension Technician certificate (BTVA: Brevet de Technicien en Vulgarisation Agricole) as a member of the technical committee. Through collaboration with relevant institutions, training and institutional support, and technical guidance in the field, SAA provided support to the project implementation from the side. |
