| Project overview | Support for the dissemination of quality seeds was provided to 15 PHTCs* across 8 regions in Mali and 5 regions in Niger. The project strengthened the capacity of local seed producers, including private seed companies and cooperatives, through technical assistance and support for business development. To promote the use of quality seeds and increase production surplus among smallholder farmers, awareness-raising activities were conducted through demonstration plots, seed fairs, media, and the distribution of seed kits. |
