Appointment of Mr. Shuichi Suzuki as President of SAA
The Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Shuichi Suzuki as President, effective March 31, 2025.
Mr. Suzuki has extensive experience in international business, having led global initiatives in the steel, resources, and energy sectors. At Sumitomo Corporation, he held key positions in the overseas steel pipe division and later served as Executive Officer, Senior Executive Officer, and General Manager of the Steel Pipe Division, driving global expansion. His leadership in international development, trade, and sustainability brings valuable expertise to SAA.
Under his leadership, SAA continues its commitment to enhancing the productivity and market linkages of smallholder farmers in Africa, contributing to improved livelihoods and the advancement of resilient, sustainable food systems.
